This is my runway from the south looking north. 1500' X
90' with trees all the way around. At least there aren't any
mountains. |
|
My Ch1 with the new paint on the body done...finally. You
can see the door in the side, the top and belly strobes and a red light on
the tail. The belly strobe is just hanging from it's wire right now. The
light on the tail is a 50w halogen bulb in a truck marker light run by a
blinker relay. It comes on when the key switch is turned on. The strobes
have their own switch on the panel. |
|
The belly strobe mount. Checked for non interferance with
the elevator control rod. |
|
The belly strobe sticking out of the skin. |
|
The top strobe in the fairing behind the BRS. |
|
Front and rear fairings fasten to the bottom of the BSR .
The fairings are made of 1/32" lexan.and are thin enough to be ripped off
with the deployment of the BSR. |
|
More distant view of the same. |
|
The exhaust turndown made from a sink P trap. Held on with
4 SS 1/8" rivets. |
