    C-I GGG a CII was delivered to me, March 1999. Some work was done on it that spring, on the wings... but new baby girl and busy season at work, postponed the work till fall and winter.
   Finally finished this summer (2000).. I never even set sight on a Kit plane being built before... but went full force at it, all by myself and had the time of my life.
   Building a challenger is a piece of cake for a amateur, just a few questions that were anserwed by you guys on the list. BIG THANKS....  I registered it as a advance ultralight, me being a GA Pilot for 10 years, it opens alot more doors here in Canada.
   After 3 months of delaying and re-scheduling for inspection, I finally got Bruce Brown from Quebec to come down and do the final inspection and had a few details worked out... the plane was painted as the Acadian flag, red, white and blue with the yellow start.... and too everybody Surprise, it made it's first flight on August 15, which is the National Acadian Day.
   I did 5 hours of training with a Challenger instructor and for those who think, training is not necessary, even with 10 years of flying cesna 172 under my belt, I probably would have damage it big time! TRAINING is a must.....  After a few hours I got the hang of it. I'm still having trouble with coordinating my right truns with doors on, but still a lot of fun.
   I have my on 1100 ft grass landing in my backyard and now building a hangar. I am very fortunate to be able to enjoy such a BEAUTIFUL sport.
